Protecting Minors
This page is for parents, guardians and anyone who lives with a young person or shares a device with one. It applies to every player and all of Victoria Casino, including our free daily prize game.
19+ Only
1.1 You must be 19 or older to open an account or play any game on our site.
1.2 It applies across the board: real money slots, table games, live dealer games, the free daily prize game and Victoria Rewards.
1.3 Accounts are only open to players located where local law allows online play. We carry out age, identity and anti-money laundering checks under Canadian rules.
1.4 We direct our marketing at adults alone and never place offers in spaces aimed mainly at young people.
1.5 Opening an account with false age details is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and ends the account.
Parental Controls and Filtering
2.1 Computers, phones, tablets and game consoles all come with parental controls. Switch them on for every device a child uses.
2.2 Filtering software, along with many filters offered by internet providers, can stop gambling sites from loading anywhere on your home network.
2.3 Internet Matters offers free guidance for parents on setting up controls and talking with children about life online.
2.4 Controls work best alongside conversation. Explain to children why gambling sites are for adults only.
2.5 Check app store settings too, so purchases and downloads need adult approval.
If We Find a Minor
3.1 If we find an account held by a person under 19, we block it at once.
3.2 All winnings on that account are void. Where the law allows, deposits are refunded to the payment account they came from.
3.3 We block the personal details used so the same person cannot sign up again.
3.4 If a minor has played through an adult's account, that account is suspended while we investigate. The account holder is responsible for all activity on it, and the account may be shut down.
3.5 Concerned that a young person is using Victoria Casino? Email us with any details you know. Every report is followed up.
Shared Devices
4.1 Log out after every session. Do not just close the tab.
4.2 Never let your browser or device store your Victoria Casino password.
4.3 On a shared computer or tablet, give each person their own user profile.
4.4 Lock your phone and computer with a PIN, password or biometric lock.
4.5 Keep Apple Pay, Google Pay and any saved Mastercard behind that lock so no one else can fund an account.
4.6 Do not play where children can see, and keep your login email to yourself.

How We Check Age
5.1 Every player gives their birth date at sign-up. Anyone under 19 cannot continue.
5.2 We verify your identity against trusted data sources and confirm your device location ahead of your first deposit.
5.3 When that check cannot confirm your age, we request identity documents. Our KYC & AML Policy page lists what we accept.
5.4 Deposits and withdrawals remain blocked until your age is confirmed.
5.5 Age checks may be carried out again at any time, for instance when account activity points to a younger user.
